A lil' bit of chocolate peanut goodness

As promised, I have brought the hailed no-bake chocolate peanut butter cookies. Mind you, these cookies aren't really cookies at all but rather a mound of chocolatey oatmeal. They were a childhood favorite for sure. The recipe is pretty simple and it's pretty fast from stir to enjoy. So, enough talk-here's what I'ma talkin' bout:

(This is an adaption from the Food Network recipe, experimenting and a little extra chocolate always helps.)
*2 cups sugar
*6 tablespoons cocoa
*1 stick butter
*1/2 cup milk
*1 cup peanut butter
*1 tablespoon vanilla
*3 cups oatmeal
Waxed paper

1. In a medium saucepan, mix the first four ingredients to a boil for one minute. (Be sure not to add too much butter or milk or the cookies won't harden correctly-yes, I am speaking from experience here.)

2. Add peanut butter, oatmeal and vanilla. Stir.

3. Drop mixture in tablespoons on to wax paper.
4. Let the cookies cool until hardened and enjoy. I stuck mine in the fridge so I could enjoy them in a jiffy!
