Yellow cake-it's nuclear

So, it's still raining. In the Jones' household, it's been like a week of rain filled with Apple Dapples (Kroger's brand of Apple Jacks), mashed potatoes (we still have an ENTIRE box of instant potatoes that we have to eat in the next 2 weeks) and yellow cake-from a box (judge if you will).
As a kid my mom used to make yellow cake and instead of icing, she would put butter on it. Butter makes everything better. In honor of my childhood (and because I had a box of yellow cake that needed to be used) I made a yellow cake sans icing. It was a glorious decision and took about 5 minutes to make. Here are the simple instructions for ya:
1. Retrieve yellow cake mix, whether from a store or your cabinet.
2. Open yellow cake mix box and bag and pour into a bowl.
3. Add eggs, water and veggie oil. (for exact measurements, look on the box)
4. Mix.
5. Put in the oven and bake until spongy.
6. Remove from oven, cut a piece and slather on some butter.

And that's how it's done folks- a little piece of my childhood.
