Two journalists, one blog, a plethora of delicious treats

Welcome to our blog! Thanks for stopping by. As our first post, we thought it would be good to introduce ourselves and our project to you, our fabulous readers.

This project is simple. SarahJane (the baker) is moving to Colorado in four weeks (YIKES), and she is going to miss Lydia (the genius cook and amazing friend) a great deal. This blog will be a way for us to keep in touch via our mutual love of food while you guys get to taste all of our delicious recipes.
As Lydia knocks down-home Southern cooking out of the park, Sarah will(soon)be packing up her kitchen, *sigh*, moving more than a mile high and learning how to cook a decent cake in thin air. We hope you enjoy following our little endeavor as much as we will, and in the words of all those incredible French cooks, bon appetit!
